The percentile is a way of comparing your balance score with other people your age. Through our research, we have compiled percentiles across age groups.
For example, if you score in the 60th percentile for your age, it means that 60% of people your age have worse balance than you and 40% have better balance than you.
Remember, your percentile isn't fixed, if you work on your balance, you can improve your balance, which will also change your percentile.
The data for the percentiles for balance has been gathered over 5+ years of testing, and is in line with national statistics for falls - 1/3 of people aged 65 are in the high risk zone for falling, scoring 1-3 on the ZIBRIO balance test.
